We want to do more than talk about God at CCC—we want to reach beyond our walls. We believe if we devote our hearts, talents and passions to living missional lives—lives with purpose—people will get a taste of His heart through our actions. Outward Ministry encompasses all of CCC’s efforts to reach out to share the gospel, serve and minister to those less fortunate.
Outward Ministries is the arm of the church that seeks to minister, serve and evangelize to those outside our congregation. We aim to fulfill Jesus’ example and the Bible’s commands to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10), “look after the orphans and widows” (James 1: 27), “invite the poor, the crippled, the lame” (Luke 4:13) and “make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19). Our church is committed to this mission by giving 10 percent of our church budget and by encouraging members to be engaged in these ministries.
Outward Ministries is Accepting Donations
For those who are cleaning/clearing/etc., please know that CCC Church is always taking donations. We make regular trips to a refugee camp in Mae Sot. The church office is open Mon-Fri 9am – 3pm or you can make arrangements for other times. Contact outward@cccthailand.org with any questions.

Elpis Ministries
Elpis Ministries is a collection of ministries run by Filipino missionaries in Mae Sot in Tak Province, near the Burmese border. (Maria, Gaudi, Antonio, Roselyn, Gigi and Joy are the Elpis Team.)
One of these ministries is Faith Haus, a house for displaced and migrant girls from Myanmar who are at risk of getting ensnared in child prostitution and child labor. Currently, it houses about 12 girls be- tween age 7 and 17. Another ministry is Elpis School for migrant children. It provides quality education, discipleship and livelihood training.
CCC members have been visiting Elpis School and Faith Haus since 2012 at Christmastime to give gifts, pray for, and encourage the children and missionaries there.

ESL Classes
English as a Second Language (ESL) is a short-term outreach of CCC to the Nichada Thai and Burmese community. English provides a means to bridge into the hearts and lives of the local non-English speaking community and gives them an opportunity to hear the gospel from Thai and Burmese pastors and ESL volunteers. Each class begins with a short time of Bible teaching led by a Thai pastor. This is followed by the students dividing into 3 levels based on their English fluency for the English language instruction. God has been faithful to continue to bring instructors and students.
ESL is conducted in two 10-week sessions in the Fall and Spring on Tuesday evenings from 7 – 9 PM at CCC. The Fall term runs from September through December and the Spring term, January through April. Volunteers are always welcome!
2017 ESL

Missionary Support
Mae La is a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma border in Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand for refugees who have fled their homes due to fighting and violence in Burma. It was established in 1984 and currently houses 50,000 refugees, most of whom are ethnic Karen.
CCC church supports several missionaries who work in Thailand, Myanmar, and China. These missionaries are supported through our weekly offerings. Please pray for all our missionaries so that they can spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Arnan “Dong” Moontrkorn and wife “Zip” are engaged in evangelistic ministry with Thai Cru, formerly called Campus Crusade for Christ. Dong and Zip work with Thai university students through concerts, Bible studies and prayer events. They have a vision to increase the Christian population of Thailand from 600,000 to 1 million by 2015. In the past, they have shared about their work with us at the church retreat in 2011 and through visits to Sunday services.

Htee Moo Draw #8 Mission School (Mae La Refugee Camp)
Mae La is a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma border in Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand for refugees who have fled their homes due to fighting and violence in Burma. It was established in 1984 and currently houses 50,000 refugees, most of whom are ethnic Karen.
Over the past five years, CCC has partnered with a school in the camp called Htee Moo Draw #8 Mission School. The school is run by Christian Henry Kyaw who acts as founder, principal, as well as head shepherd for a flock of sheep and goats. Approximately 60 of the 200 students at the school live on the premises in separate girls’ and boys’ dorms. The school has 20 teachers and support staff.
CCC has helped supplement the school’s diminishing rations with monthly donations of rice, vegetables and dried fish. We have also assisted with building, farming and livestock projects at the school in addition to yearly trips to the camp for education, encouragement, Christmas parties and fun. Prayer and donations of school supplies, clothing, blankets, toiletries and household goods are always welcome. Look for sign-up sheets for group trips in September, December, and March, and for items you can donate to the camp.
